As a San Francisco based abstract photographer, my passion is transforming imagery of modern urban architecture and Nature into unusual geometric shapes, forms, and stunning designs.
Abstract photography enables me to convey the richness of our everyday surroundings and express multiple perspectives. Through the visual interplay of light, space, sequences, and dimension many of my photos have movement.
My creativity, inspiration and delight come from revealing what's hidden from initial observation. The intention is to encourage the viewer to lose their common interpretation of the subject transcending boundaries for an expanded perspective. People often inquire if my photographs are paintings.
Influences on my style have come from artists such as M.C. Escher, Magritte, Dali, Warhol, and others in the abstract movement.
My photographs are available in large sizes. They are printed on aluminum and can be framed. Printng on metal produces modern beautiful images with a special luminescence and vibrance.
My work has been in corporate locations and private collections in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC, Virginia, Minnesota, Utah, Colorado, Washington, Wisconsin and California.
