​Debra is an architectural photographer based in San Francisco. She captures urban transformation through the lens of modern architecture. Inspired by cityscapes with sustainable architectural structures, she focuses on photographing eco-architecture. Her passion lies in transforming images of contemporary buildings into striking geometric shapes, forms, and captivating designs.

 

Debra’s distinctive architectural photographs explore patterns, sequences, and motifs from unconventional angles. She masterfully unravels the interplay of light, space, movement and dimension creating unique painterly like photographs. Her process is to view a structure from unusual positions to discover angles that we don’t initially see. The unique perspectives that appear to “defy gravity” are a hallmark of  her photography. Debra’s photographic intention is to encourage the viewer to transcend their usual interpretations and expand their visual perspective.

​Influences on her style have come from artists such as M.C. Escher, Magritte, Dali, Warhol, and others in the abstract movement.
